As the project coordinator of Martin Novak and Adam Hvězda, I would like to provide feedback on their tasks and responsibilities, alongside with his performance and progress during the 3 month mobility. ...

MARTIN
Martin worked as a front office agent. Initially he was introduced to the general basis of hotel operations – welcoming of guests, assisting with luggage, the facilities of the hotel –spa- meeting guest’s needs in the form of concierge service.
From the get to go he showed immerse confidence in greeting customers within the borders of quality requirements using the given operational system. His responsibility was to be in contact with several departments of the hotel including housekeeping to make sure guests occupy their assigned rooms in the desired cleanliness and with the desired amenities.
During guest’s stay he also had to ensure their comfort in terms of answering calls in timely manner, offering them transfer services if needed and offering ideas for restaurants- fulfilling the duty of the concierge. As to gain insight of the bell man’s way of handling luggages he also spent some time with the londineers. For the same reason he was placed at the spa for a period of time.
In these three months he gained knowledge of most facilities of Aria Hotel providing a base for future career path.
Ária Hotel annually accommodates numerous interns, among whom Martin distinguished himself as one of, if not the best. Demonstrating an unwavering work ethic, Martin exhibited a penchant for diligently completing tasks and proactively seeking additional responsibilities. His dedication extended beyond the confines of his scheduled shifts, as he readily volunteered to extend his working hours when necessary. Remarkably adaptable, Martin displayed a willingness to undertake diverse roles within the establishment without complaint.
Adept in interpersonal communication, Martin garnered admiration from both colleagues and guests alike. Throughout his three-week tenure, he progressively honed his communication skills, evolving into a more confident and proficient communicator with each passing day. By the conclusion of his placement, Martin adeptly navigated the daily operations of the hotel with self-assurance, showcasing considerable growth in his comprehension of hotel management principles.
Notably, Marti assimilated invaluable intangible skills, such as the art of guest relations and fostering harmonious relationships irrespective of linguistic barriers. Possessing a commendable demeanor and a collaborative spirit, Martin consistently demonstrated his ability to function effectively within a team dynamic. Beyond his professional performance, Martin's amiable personality left a lasting impression, with colleagues expressing genuine regret at his departure and affirming his affability and congeniality.
Martin was well liked by guests and by his colleagues as well. Always was very punctual, professional, and knowledgeable to the point that the management of the hotel would gladly work with Martin in the future. They see a bright future in front of him.
ADAM
Adam spent three months with us as a professional trainee. During this time, he was mainly involved in the everyday life of the office. He helped with basic tasks such as archiving, photocopying, scanning, or purchasing, and over time we were able to entrust him with more and more things. After a while, he managed social media completely alone. He solved any task we asked him to do and handled them to the best ability. He was very helpful and always looking for new ways to help. He is reliable, wants to improve and is hardworking. He works quickly and is motivated. He corrects his mistakes quickly and does not make the same mistake twice, he learns quickly and has a quick perception.
He speaks excellent English. He performs the tasks assigned to him conscientiously.
During his internship, he developed a lot in the following areas. Precision. It's definitely his hard skill, but he's gotten even better at it. Visual sense. During the creation of social media posts, his sense developed a lot, he uses the many tools of Canva with confidence and knows Meta business page. Communication. After a while, he confidently led the check-in and check-out, helped the groups, found his voice with the guests. He also joined the life of the office and let us see his informed, humorous and sociable side.
We got to know him as a good and useful team member. As a colleague, I would gladly recommend him.
It was a pleasure to meet both of them. Thank you for your trust and for choosing us, as the organizers of their mobility.
